Welcome to Tabletop Thursdays...

 

Join us every Thursday evening for a unique and enriching experience at our weekly Bible study, Tabletop Thursdays. This special gathering begins its new season on September 5th, 2024 and runs until May, 2025 when we break for the Summer. Tabletop Thursdays offer a time of food, fellowship, reflection, and spiritual growth. Many will participate in a time of fasting throughout the day on Thursday and we will come together and break our fast at Tabletop Thursday. Feel free to join us in this powerful time.

 

6:00 PM: Breaking Our Fast Together
We begin by coming together in the downstairs fellowship hall after a day of fasting. Everyone is encouraged to prepare food and bring it to share with the group. The room is transformed into a warm and inviting space, with a buffet filled with delicious homemade dishes. As we break our fast, we fill our plates and sit down to enjoy a meal together, fostering community and deepening our relationships with one another.

7:00 PM: We gather for Bible Study.
After our meal, we move upstairs to dive into the Word. Each week, we explore different topics that impact our daily lives as followers of Christ. These studies are designed to be practical, relevant, and encouraging as we journey together in faith. Whether we are discussing love, forgiveness, perseverance, doctrine or complexities in the Word of God, or any other topic, the focus is always on how we can apply biblical principles to our everyday lives.

Why Tabletop Thursdays?
Tabletop Thursdays is more than just a Bible study; it's a time to come together as a community, to break bread, and to grow in our faith. The combination of fasting, fellowship, and study helps us to center our lives on Christ and to support one another in our spiritual journeys.

We welcome everyone to join us, whether you are a long-time member or a first-time visitor. Come as you are, and bring your Bible, a dish to share if you choose, and an open heart.
